The Priest’s House Museum and Garden in Wimborne invites you to hear the magical tale of A Christmas Rose on Tuesday 19 December at 7pm.
Local storyteller Taprisha will enchant you with this Swedish folk tale. It is a magical Christmas Eve, deep in the forest. Long ago, in the village of Ovid, the outlaws... well they knew the meaning of Christmas. The old Abbot, who grows the best herb garden in Sweden, is granted his final wish when a ragamuffin turns up at his door.
Tickets are priced at £5.50 (children £4.50) and are available from Wimborne Tourist Information Centre or tel: 01202 886116. The story is suitable for all ages 9 years and over. Booking is essential.
The ticket price includes a glass of mulled wine or fruit juice and a mince pie. The museum will also be open and festively decorated.
