Calling all Volunteers
We are now recruiting volunteers for the woodfair, so please contact Shirley at the office on 01725 517417.
Free Family Pass
We will ensure that all volunteers are well fed and we will give you a family pass (max. 2 adults/3 children) so that you/they can come back on one of the days to enjoy the day at your leisure.
What you will be required to do...
Firstly, you will be asked to attend a short briefing about the tasks you will be asked to undertake.
Responsibilities will be varied but could include helping with trailer rides, general stewarding, marshaling, leaflet distribution, shovelling wood chips, site set up, and helping in the information tent. Friendliness and approachability are both desirable qualities of volunteers.
- We are accepting applications from anyone aged over 16 years
- You must have a friendly outgoing personality
- You must be available for at least one full day on either Friday, Saturday or Sunday (you can do as many as you like).
This is a good opportunity to help a local event, have some fun and can provide a useful reference for future job/university applications.
