'Taste the Chase'
Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) is challenging local hospitality and retail businesses, and local residents, to ‘Taste the Chase’ at the Larmer Tree Gardens on 20th April. This new food event is designed to raise awareness of the wealth of delicious food and drink produced on our doorstep in the Cranborne Chase.
The morning session (10am-12.30pm) is for local food retailers, B&Bs, pubs, other catering and hospitality businesses to meet & discuss possible ‘liaisons’ for the future!?
In the afternoon, from 1pm to 4pm, the event, and the Gardens, will be open to the public, so call in and enjoy an afternoon treat.
Covering 380 square miles of countryside, including parts of Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire and Somerset, the Cranborne Chase AONB is a picturesque mix of landscapes. A delightful blend of rolling chalk grassland, ancient woodland, chalk river valleys and downland; extraordinarily rich countryside and the perfect setting for the production of fine food and drink. Indeed there is a product, a new flavour to enjoy, around every corner.
Working in partnership with the South West Wiltshire Area Board, the Cranborne Chase AONB is bringing these delectable foods together so that we can all savour a ‘Taste of the Chase’.
There are a few spaces left if you are a local producer who would like to have a free stall to promote your stock……..
